With 47 years of extensive industry experience, I am a distinguished Quantity Surveyor specializing in Construction Cost Consultancy services. I graduated from the prestigious Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, where I built a strong foundation in the management of costs associated with building construction and infrastructure projects. My expertise encompasses Earned Value Management, contract negotiations, and claims processing, utilizing both bespoke and standard contracts. Additionally, I serve as a construction arbitrator and a subject matter expert in construction disputes, a specialty I developed through the renowned Quantity Surveying Academy(QSA) training programs, where I currently serve as a member of the Board of Directors.

As a co-founder and managing partner of Quantec Consultants, a leading firm in Quantity Surveying and Construction Cost Consultancy, I leverage my extensive knowledge to drive excellence within our industry. I have developed actionable insights and strategically enhanced project efficiency throughout various projects life cycles while streamlining the procurement process.

I take pride in being the second female Quantity Surveyor in Nigeria, and my commitment to equity and inclusion in the construction sector is fundamental to my professional endeavors. I am passionate about nurturing the next generation of quantity surveyors, having facilitated numerous career counseling sessions, mentorship schemes and seminars across Nigeria to inspire aspiring professionals.

Academic Credentials and Professional Affiliations

I hold a B.Sc (Hons) in Quantity Surveying from Ahmadu Bello University,Zaria and am a distinguished Fellow of the Nigerian Institute of Quantity Surveyors (FNIQS). I actively contribute to the profession as a team member of the NIQS Education and Training Committee, where I participate in conducting interviews for candidates for the NIQS Test of Professional Competence (TPC).

Board Memberships and Leadership Roles

My leadership experience began with leading the Quantity Surveying Department at the Lagos State Public Works Corporation at a point and also includes once serving as a board member of the Association of Consulting Quantity Surveyors(ACQS). I have also been actively involved in electoral processes, serving as both a member and Chairman of election panels at state and national levels to ensure fair and transparent elections
