QS Ayodele Faleye is a Chartered Quantity Surveyor (RICS, UK), Corporate Member of the Nigerian Institute of Quantity Surveyors, a Project Management Professional (PMI) and a LEED Green Associate (USGBC). He is Founding Partner at Samprec Consultants Ltd, operating from Abuja and Lagos, and currently serves as Senior Quantity Surveyor (retainer) with the United Nations Office for Project Services (UNOPS) Ghana Multi-Country Office. Recognised as the first Young Quantity Surveyor in Africa to win the AAQS “Young QS Achiever” Award (Oct 2020), he also sits on the RICS Global Professional Group panel for construction and the ICEC Region 3 (Africa) executive, and serve in the RICS’ Expert Work Group [EWG] preparing the first Global Construction Standard.
Faleye earned a B.Sc. (Hons, Upper Second) in Quantity Surveying from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife (2012) and an M.Sc. in Project Management from Ahmadu Bello University (2021). A past Chairman of the Young Quantity Surveyors Forum (Nigeria), he has helped establish and mentor young-professional platforms across Zambia, Ghana, Kenya, Tanzania and Mozambique, frequently facilitating CPD programmes and serving on national committees.
On the consultancy front, he has audited more than 250 federal projects for Nigeria’s Bureau of Public Procurement, strengthening transparency and accountability. His portfolio spans procurement, cost and project management for urban-development initiatives in conflict and post-conflict contexts across Nigeria and Anglophone West Africa. Faleye is married and blessed with children.
